Have just checked the webcam, first time for ages, and there are a few boats on the beach, probably ready for Easter visitors. Lets hope Tossa is ready for the influx.
It is busier here in Gran Alacant at the moment, the towns are having Easter time procesions on many of the holy week nights, and Easter Sunday, some very elaborate, others quite simple. We went to the Palm Sunday one in our local small town, it was lovely, a replica of a donkey carrying Jesus, and the townspeople carrying palms of all shapes and sizes, some quite intricate, a real event for the whole community. Tossa will probably have something similar too.

Will do.
A double Cava for Val and large Bacardi/coke for me.
will put the bill on your slate.
Hope you can make it in 2011 for your big (60th) birthday.
It is Val's birthday on the 23rd & we hope to have dinner at the Maritim,if it is still open, and watch the fireworks from there.

Don't forget to think of me next Sunday, whilst you are having your CAVA at Claudi's
It's only the 3rd time in 29 years that I haven't been there to do that, so i may stay in bed ALL day, even though it is Father's day this year again

Beach packed, typical Sunday and the rain seems to have moved away.
Roll on Wednesday - if Mr O'Leary is on time we should be in Tossa for lunch.

Arrived back from Tossa last Monday and we had had fabulous weather all the week we were there although last Sunday was rather grey and overcast - which was a pity as it made our visit to the Sardinada a bit of a chilly one.

Wow-wee, just look at the weather today. It seems as if our friends there at the moment are not having the sunshine that they normally get at this time of year Hope that improves for them next week. It's certainly not beach weather at the moment. They will have to spend more time at Bar Elsa and Emilio's

The speedboats have started to appear on the beach this week, ready for the playboys and girls from Barcelona to party in. It's a pity that we shall not be there to watch them this year.

The Dofi jet has been seen on the beach this week, and today there appears to be many people sunbathing on the beach. Roll on June !!!

Hi again

Glad to see Fondo de Cristal boat on beach at ten o'clock this morning, it seems no time since it was dragged up the beach in November.

A long wait untill our visit in September but it is always worth the wait.

Having a look at webcams I see Fondo de Cristal boat being dragged up the beach at 16:30 today.

Can only hope that it will not be to long before it is back in the water.

Having just re-read previous post it reminded me that TV3 on Sky channel 795 went off air a few weeks ago and I don't think it will be returning this time
