A few years ago before i met my wonderful wife i travelled to Tossa on my own,night flight out of Luton,arrived Gerona somewhere around 2.30am and then arrived Tossa around 3.30.Went into reception at Mare Nostrum and was kindly shown my room.At last i thought time to unwind and relax so being very quiet knowing most people in the rooms around would be asleep i decided to go on the balcony for some night air and see what kind of view i was going to be having.To my horror the sliding door behind me had closed locking me out on the blacony 3 floors up at nearly 4am in the morning.A few spanish people walked by but either thought i was mad or drunk as i tried to grab there attention and just laughed.So i sat down resigned to the fact that i was probably gonna be there till breakfast time.But lucky enough at around 5.15am as i was snuggled up in my chair i could hear this clip clop clip clop coming down the street and thank goodness she was english and even better she was the Thomson rep.I whispered to hear my problem and she went and got help and i was rescued from the balcony by a very amused hotel manager.Thinking my embarresment was all forgotton the next morning when all new arrivals meet with the rep,well my rep just happened to be the boyfreind of the girl that rescued me the night before,and trust me he had great pleasure in telling all new arrivals about the dangers of locking yourself out on the balcony,so be warned. |

I hate flying too, that's why Spain is the ideal choice for me, only 2hrs away. I do fly about 6 to 8 times a year, but am very relieved when I'm off the plane. The rest of my family love flying.
We would love to live in Tossa !!! |

Luckily i was fully clothed,well lucky for Hotel Costa Brava anyway. I was in a room facing that hotel as well.
Im just glad i never run the bath as soon as i entered the room,dont think i would have been very popular
Anyway only 15 more days till we are there and back to Mare Nostrum.Got to start getting myself ready for the flight now,i hate flying. |

You didn't say if you were in a naked state Luca 
I bet some of the people in the Hotel Costa Brava had a good view also
