Posted - 01/08/2007 : 15:04:59 Does anyone know of anywhere to stay in Tossa in January? Most of the hotels I've looked at seem to close at the end of December and re-open in Feb. I know there won't be much open but we've always wanted to see Tossa when it's like that. |

Posted - 02/08/2007 : 09:19:52 Thanks everyone for the advice, especially the reminder about The Bells - about 17/18 years ago we stayed at the hotel 'Palmera' (been closed down for many a long year now) and had a marvelous stay but it was within the range of those 'Bells' and how well I remember them! Will probably try the 'Tourisa' if we decide to go then. Pauline |

Posted - 01/08/2007 : 19:55:44 We spent a few days in Tossa in February a few years ago at Hotel Can Tonet - I think it was €45 for a superior room. Room was fine but bathroom very small and do be aware of the BELLS!! (they do finish at midnight but start again at 6am). Very friendly hotel , good breakfast included , but we would chose somewhere away from the Bells if anywhere was open - I think the main hotels start opening on 1st March. Also be aware that you will have to search high and low for somewhere to eat in the evening. G&V |
