The Events Diary and Guided Walks Timetable have been updated for April. You can view them here: www.tossacostabrava.com/events_diary.html
Throughout April visitors to Tossa can enjoy the celebration of the cuisine of the sea, with special menus in a selection of restaurants.
On 23 April, love will be in the air as couples celebrate the Spanish version of Valentines Day, by exchanging books and roses. The Book and Rose Fair in the Plaça d’Espanya starts at 10am. For more info on this celebration, see the March Newsletter.
Also on 23 April, Saint George is honoured with a Mass and Sardana Dancing. Saint George helped the Christians to victory over the Moors in the famous battle of Alcoy in the 13th Century and is now revered by Christians.
Also during the month, there is the Flower Arrangement Competition at the House of Culture, and the Caixa de Girona Cycle Race, departing from the Sports Pavilion.
And if all this isn't enough for you, why not set your alarm clock for the early hours, pull on your walking boots and head off on one of the Tourist Office's Guided Walks which average 3 hours in length and take in the stunning coastal and inland scenary of the area.
Have a good time in Tossa!
