Thanks Sarah, We have never been inside to see the Roman ruins, just looked from the fence.... I know it is much better inside, and have put that on my " Things I must do in Tossa " list
I wish they would make their minds up as to whether the Roman Ruins are open to the public or not.
Last year they were open at certain times and charging about €2 to get in. This year they were closed to the general public, but open to those on the Pandora's Box Guided Tour.
Maybe it's because the ruins are still being excavated, and they are finding new things all the time, that they don't know whether to let people trample all over them or not. Or maybe opening them for one year last year funded another year's excavations... who knows?
