You have just got to try the Splash Boat! It's amazing. It's a speedboat like the lifeguards use. It starts off from the main beach and all of a sudden zooms off along the coast. It's fantastic to feel the wind in your hair as the boat skims the waves.
You stop off at some of the little bays along the way, one of them is Cala Bona and it is so beautiful. The water is crystal clear and so still. People are having a peaceful drink in the beach bar or snorkelling, or sunbathing on one of the boats moored there.
The boat also goes into some of the caves where you can see all the different coloured rocks glimmering in the water.
This coastline is so beautiful, you must explore it when you visit Tossa, and the best way to do it is by boat. What an amazing experience - and no, you don't get wet and you won't be seasick - it feels like you are driving (fast) in a convertible car!

The Splash Boat is an amazing experience that you've got to try.
It's not a teen-thrill-experience, or anything like that. It's an amazing ride along this superb coastline that allows you to see the sheer beauty that makes this region the most popular place for Spanish people from other regions throughout the country to take their holidays.
The sublime calm of Cala Bona, the youthful grab of Pola, the deep-azure skies topping the craggy, pine-topped cliffs, the wind in your hair, the smart of the salty breeze on your lips....this is an experience that infiltrates your senses and takes you to another place.... |
