Myself and two friends enjoyed some delicious food, a week ago at this restaurant. It is situated on Calle Barcelona[ on the opposite corner to Emilio's] We had the menu of the day about 15 Euros. The food, wine and service were truly superb!! Shall definitely go again in September.

Always looked at the menu when passing but as we are early eaters , and the place seemed quiet , we never stopped.
On this occasion , even though only two tables were occupied , we made a effort to go in and sit down and were surprised that half the tables had reserved signs on them and later on at 9pm on this Friday it was nearly full ,and with many different nationalities enjoying the food and atmosphere.
This place has style - nice table cloths ,table decorations , and colourful serving plates and a comprehensive and varied menu.
Lubina a la plancha for Val and pork medallions in pepper sauce for me and both with a delicious selection of grilled vegetables. We shared a dessert and a beer and a bottle of rosado and the bill , for such an upmarket establishment , was a reasonable 55.
Whether it would be so pleasurable later at night I do not know - there appears to be a bar opposite across the lawns that is frequented by Brit regulars who escaped from the Hotel Costa Brava and who probably can get quite noisy as the night draws on !!!

Don't know what you mean about the Brits Geoff and Val
Must say there is always a few Dutch people in there too. Emillio worked there some years ago, so can speak their language.
