Someone, not sure whether they had a BA in English or were a bestselling author or whatever, someone decided to take it upon themselves to e-mail me the other day to advise me there was a "spelling mistake" on the Tossa Costa Brava website.
Out of more than 500 pages of words, someone found ONE mistake, and decided it would be a good idea to send me a gloating e-mail.
Have people got nothing better to do? It wasn't even a spelling mistake, just a plain old typo. I really didn't need a lesson in English grammar!
Tempted as I was to retort, I didn't, quickly deleting the e-mail just in case I changed my mind later on after it had festered in my mind.
Some people don't half wind me up!  |
