This family run and popular bar/restaurant is on Peixateries leading up from the boats and is opposite to where the fishermen used to sell their daily catch. It is popular with locals and tourists alike. Big salads and bocadillos together with tapas and grills are the order of the day together with good value, and fruity house wine. There are tables outside and a few in the bar, ideal if the weather is not so good. This is not fine dining but good wholesome family cooking. We have eaten there at least twice a year for many years - always good value and freshly prepared and it is invariably open out of season. In June 2009 for lunch a tuna bocadillo, a large tuna salad, a beer and half a litre of house rose was €14.35. A smart Spanish family on an adjoining table tucked into plates of shellfish tapas and grilled sardines- they obviously recognised the quality of the place.
